WhatsApp recently launched a new create poll feature for Android and iOS users. The Meta-owned instant-messaging app allows users to create polls in groups and personal chats. The WhatsApp poll feature is only available for the mobile versions and is expected to come for WhatsApp for the Web version soon.
Let’s take a quick look at how to use the new Poll feature on WhatsApp for Android and iOS versions.
How to create a WhatsApp poll on Android and iOS
Step 1: Open WhatsApp on your Android or iOS smartphones
2nd Step: Now open the individual chat or group in which you want to create the poll.
3rd Step: Next, tap on the attach button at the message box’s side and the Poll icon.
Step 4: Add your question and options to select from the Create Poll window. You can add up to 12 votes.
5th Step: You can also tap and drag the ‘Hamburger ‘ icon on the right of the poll options to change the order.
Step 6: Once you add questions and options, tap on the green send option.
Step 7: Your poll will be created
Users of WhatsApp can add up to 12 options to the poll. By just pressing on the accessible option of their choice, users can start a ballot and vote in other people’s polls. You can choose from any of the alternatives provided, as well as from a number of them or all, depending on the survey.
Every time a new vote does add, the poll does automatically update. By selecting the “view votes” option, users may examine poll-related details such as who viewed the poll results. Simply access the poll and select “View Votes.” You will see information about the survey, such as who voted and which option the others chose.
